We are excited to welcome Ricardo Crespo Martins to IMKT!
Since January, Ricardo is exploring the tribological mechanisms of self-regenerative solid lubrication using molybdenum oxide coatings under high loads. Together with Dennis Konopka, he is scaling previous findings to different rolling bearing configurations, while modeling friction, wear, and service life for this novel coating technology.
Ricardo holds a Bachelor's degree from Instituto Superior Técnico and a Master's from KTH Royal Institute of Technology. We look forward to his contributions to sustainable tribology Leibniz Universität Hannover!
