At the overall system level, the institute is involved in the development of innovative drive trains for wind turbines (HAPT, HBDV) & electrified vehicles (Speed4E) as well as resource-efficient technologies (Taylored Forming, Drivetrain2025) within the framework of a variety of lighthouse projects, thus contributing to the energy and mobility transition.
